Berkeley Women in Business is comprised of 7 committees: Administration, Community Development, Corporate Relations, Diversity, Inclusion, & Operations, Marketing, Finance, and University Relations. Committee members develop invaluable skills in managing projects and working alongside the rest of their committee, as well as the rest of the organization. Corporate Relations

About

  • Organizes professional development events such as mini case competitions, financial workshops, office visits, and networking dinners for nurturing leadership and real-life skills in members

  • Hosts weekly events and networking sessions with corporate sponsors to speak about internship and full-time programs

  • Maintains and establishes relationships with our corporate sponsors

  • Budget & Reimbursements: Complete CalLink training to assist with reimbursements and ensure budget accuracy during committee meetings with regular updates.

  • Shared Responsibilities: Ensure finance goals are being met by overseeing multiple committees, collaborating with VPs on budget planning, and equitably distributing financial tasks.

  • Communication & Growth: Utilize Slack for club-wide finance related reminders, collaborate with Marketing on Finance education, and help to improve current practices.
